When a person's daily outlook or opinion constantly emanates from a conspiracy theory well-hole... then yes, that person's credibility should be questioned.
However...every now and then, it is permissible and may even be mentally healthy, for Americans to put on their "conspiracy theory" glasses when viewing events that occurred which make absolutely no sense!
Case in point: the evolution of President Obama's gay epiphany. While I don't understand the real purpose of some of the recent 'not-so-subtle-leaks'... these events and reported news stories are causing many in bread basket America to wonder what the heck is going on????
Let's take a peek:
On March 8, 2012, President Obama's long lost nanny from his Indonesian days––a Mr./Ms Evie, who was born a man and then became a woman––was unearthed and became an international poster-woman/man for transgenders, revealing his/her influence on the young boy Obama as a child. (Hmm...mmm)

Was it a coincidence that on April 2, 2012, one of the President's primary supporters, Mr. Van Jones, appeared on national television and declared that EVEN if Obama came out as 'gay', he wouldn't lose the Black vote. (Hmm...mmm)

Then... the earlier part of May... and for the first time EVAH (since President Obama first came on the national scene) not one... but two Causasian women came forward––with collaborating diaries in tow –––saying they were involved in relationships with the President in his younger days. (Hmm...mmm)

Okay... then last week, the President–– in an unprecedented move––became the first sitting president to actually endorse or co-sign same-sex marriage with this comment:
"At a certain point, I've just concluded, that for me, personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married." President Barack Obama
And now, today... the cover of Newsweek magazine boldly displays a photo of the President of the United States, leader of the free world, that includes a rainbow-colored Gaylo circling his head with the front page caption declaring him the "First Gay President"! (Hmm...mmm)
This 2-month course of events just makes you scratch your head and say "what is REALLY being said here"?
I'm just asking???
